WTF is going on right now?!? Outer Planets making Big Moves
If you’re wondering WTF is going on right now, you’re not alone. Everybody is taking note of major changes not only in the geopolitical climate, but also in interpersonal dynamics and even within our own psyches.
And these changes are MAJOR. They’re too big to be ascribed to the 20 year Jupiter/Saturn cycle of societal change that I’ve mentioned in previous posts.
So what is happening right now?
Well, the outer planets (Pluto, Neptune and Uranus) along with Saturn and Jupiter are ALL changing signs within about 2 years, and the last time this happened with just the outer planets was in 1737.
This occurrence is so rare because the outer planets are far away, move slowly, and change signs very infrequently. Pluto spends an average of around 20 yrs in a sign, Neptune about 14 yrs and Uranus roughly 7 yrs
Because outer planets move slowly, they are believed to have greater power, just like you can get more torque on a lever when you increase the distance of applied force from the fulcrum.
However their impact creeps up slowly, like a tide as opposed to a wave. The impact this time around is even more complex and convoluted because all three outer planets are just dipping their toes in their new signs for a test period first, then retreating to the previous sign before finally entering the new sign in earnest. So there may be an element of whiplash that we experience
Sounds daunting, but take heart because I believe we can actually influence the nature of the change through our thoughts and actions, just like you can forge metal into different shapes when it is heated to extreme temperatures. One can make knives and guns or one could make shovels and plows. And right now you can tell things are really heating up.
So in my next few blog posts, I’ll be writing about the energies of each of the outer planets and their old and new signs one by one to see if there are any trends we can leverage to create a better future with a more efficient expenditure of our effort.
We’ll start with Pluto because it already made its move from Capricorn into Aquarius at the end of 2024. (As a teaser, the last time Pluto was in Aquarius was during the French and American Revolutions!)
In the meantime, think about the future you want to see and how you can begin to embody that vision.
